On 02 August 2024, Her Excellency Eat Sophea, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and Personal Advisor to Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister of Cambodia, met with His Excellency Oleksandr Gaman, Ambassador of Ukraine to Cambodia with residence in Hanoi. The discussion covered potential areas of cooperation under bilateral and multilateral frameworks. 

Taking this opportunity, His Excellency Gaman expressed high appreciation to Cambodia for its firm stand on the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter in relations to the ongoing war in Ukraine, and for providing support to Ukraine in humanitarian mine action.
