On the morning of 15th August 2024, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Her Excellency Ülkü Kocaefe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Ministry.

As 2024 marks the 65th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations, His Excellency Secretary of State and Her Excellency the Ambassador noted with satisfaction the ongoing development in bilateral relations between Cambodia and Türkiye. Both side attached great importance to the exchange of visits by leaders of both countries and were committed to promote more high-level visits. During the meeting, both sides focused on expanding cooperation in potential areas such as education, agriculture, energy, civil aviation, and environment and cooperation in multilateral arena. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and global issues of common concerns.
