On the afternoon of 20 August 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a bilateral meeting with Mr. Andrew Herrup, U.S. Deputy Assitant Secretary of State, in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR. 

The Meeting discussed potential cooperation areas under the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and the priorities of Cambodia as Country Coordinator for ASEAN-U.S. Dialogue Relations (2024-2027). Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
