On the afternoon of 4 September 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, received Mrs. Bridgette L.Walker, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the United States Embassy in Phnom Penh, at the Ministry. 

The Meeting discussed potential cooperation areas under the ASEAN-U.S. Comprehensive Strategic Partnership and priorities as Cambodia has resumed the role of country coordinator for ASEAN-U.S. Dialogue Relations (2024-2027). Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interests and concerns.
