On 4 October 2024, on behalf of Her Excellency KHIEV Sophany, Secretary of State in charge of Economic Diplomacy, H.E. OUK Sorphorn, Under-Secretary of State, led a Cambodian delegation on a study visit and held a meeting with the Vietnamese delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Hong Thanh, Vice-Chairman of the People's Committee of Tay Ninh Province, with participation from directors of various departments, ministries-institutions, and companies based in Tay Ninh.

H.E. Under-Secretary of State commended the development of Tay Ninh and the efforts of officials, authorities, and stakeholders in driving its provincial growth and the economy of Viet Nam as a whole, particularly through trade promotion, investment attraction, infrastructure development, and tourism promotion.

He also took the opportunity to emphasize the Royal Government of Cambodia's firm commitment to promote economic diplomacy, with a particular focus on cooperation with partner countries, especially Viet Nam, which is our friendly neighbour.
