On 7 October 2024, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the ASEAN Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

The Meeting discussed issues regarding ASEAN Community Building process, ASEAN External Relations as well as the preparation for the upcoming 44th and 45th ASEAN Summits and Related Summits to be held on 8-11 October 2024.
