On 07 November 2024, on behalf of His Excellency SOK Chenda Sophea, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Her Excellency YENTIENG Puthirasmey, Secretary of State, held a virtual meeting with His Excellency Manssour BIN Mussallam, Secretary General of the Organization of Southern Cooperation (OSC).

During discussion, His Excellency Manssour BIN Mussallam extended invitation to His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea and related ministries to attend the 2nd Ordinary Session of the General Assembly of the OSC to be held from 25-29 November 2024 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

In response, Her Excellency Yentieng Puthirasmey congratulated His Excellency Manssour BIN Mussallam for achieving his halfway point as the Secretary General of the OSC and informed him that, due to his prior engagements, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister SOK Chenda Sophea would not be able to attend the above-said meeting. Meanwhile, His Excellency NOS Sles, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports, will represent the Ministry to participate in the General Assembly.
