H.E. Mr. Khuon Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and H.E. Mr. Damjan Jović, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, co-chaired the fourth session of the Bilateral Consultations between Cambodia and Serbia, which was held on 27 November 2024 at the Ministry.
The meeting highlighted the unwavering commitment of both countries to fostering regular dialogue, reinforcing their traditional and enduring relationship, and exploring new avenues to strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation. The discussions focused on promoting economic activities between the two nations, emphasizing the importance of establishing various effective mechanisms.
The two co-chairs also underscored the importance of strengthening people-to-people ties through education, cultural exchanges, and tourism while reaffirming mutual support in international fora. Cambodia welcomed Serbia’s growing engagement with ASEAN and expressed enthusiasm for deepening cooperation in regional initiatives. Both nations pledged to explore appropriated opportunities for the signing of key agreements. The two co-chairs also exchanged ideas and experiences on regional and global issues.
This productive dialogue has laid a robust foundation for future high-level engagements and ongoing collaboration, advancing the shared goals of peace, development, and regional integration.
