On the afternoon of 18 December 2024 at the Ministry, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call by His Excellency FUNAKOSHI Takehiro, Senior Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Japan, who visited Cambodia to co-chair the 2nd Senior Officials’ Talks (SOTs) between Cambodia and Japan.

His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn and His Excellency FUNAKOSHI Takehiro discussed the​ ways to strengthen and deepen the bilateral relations and cooperation between Cambodia and Japan. Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments of common concerns.
