On behalf of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on the morning of 14 January 2025, His Excellency Dr. KHY Sovanratana, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, delivered opening remarks under the theme “Celebrating the 65th Anniversary of Cambodia-Türkiye Diplomatic Relations”, which was co-organised by the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) and the Embassy of the Republic of Türkiye in the Kingdom of Cambodia, with documentation and photo exhibition on the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the two countries. 

At this event as well, a joint lecture was delivered by H.E. Mr. KHUON Phon Ratanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and H.E. Ms. Ülkü KOCAEFE, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Türkiye to Cambodia which featured the perspectives of the bilateral relations between the two nations. The event brought together around 100 participants from various ministries, institutions, and universities in Cambodia.
