On the afternoon of 11 February 2025, at the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations, His Excellency Dr. KHY Sovanratana, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with ten esteemed Japanese professors who are in Cambodia to interview candidates for the JDS Scholarship.

During the meeting, His Excellency Secretary of State presented Cambodia’s New Development Plan and emphasized the importance of strengthening Cambodia-Japan bilateral relations, particularly in education sector. During this meeting, both side discussed in detail on human resource development and highlighted the vital role of education and diplomacy in promoting sustainable development and strengthening strong ties between Cambodia and Japan.
