His Excellency Sin Saream presents the Letter of Credence to President of the Philippines


On 25 March 2025, His Excellency Sin Saream presented the Letter of Credence, accrediting him as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Philippines, to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. at Malacañang Palace in Manila. 

During the courtesy call on the President after the presentation of credentials, His Excellency Sin Saream conveyed to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. the compliments and best wishes of His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah Boromneath NORODOM SIHAMONI, King of Cambodia, and Samdech Moha Bovor Thipadei HUN MANET, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia. In return, the President extended his well wishes to His Majesty the King of Cambodia and Samdech Thipadei Prime Minister. 

In his brief remarks, Ambassador Sin Saream reiterated his commitment to further enhancing and strengthening the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of the Philippines for the mutual benefit and prosperity of the peoples of both countries. He cited the productive discussions and the signing of eight Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and Agreement in key areas including trade, investment, agriculture, tourism, labor, ICT, and culture, during the recent successful official visit of  Samdech Thipadei HUN MANET to the Philippines. 

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. extended a warm welcome to His Excellency, the Ambassador, to the Philippines and highlighted the fruitful outcomes of the Prime Minister’s official visit to the Philippines in February 2025, which served as a testament to the growing and deepening relations between Cambodia and the Philippines. He also expressed his intention to foster and further strengthen the Philippines’ bilateral ties with Cambodia, acknowledging the strong foundation that already exists between the two countries.
