On 8 May 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, participated in the 22nd ASEAN-Canada Dialogue in Vientiane, Lao PDR.

The meeting reviewed the progress of ASEAN-Canada cooperation and reaffirmed the commitment to further strengthening collaboration in key areas of mutual benefit, including trade and investment, connectivity and infrastructure, energy and food security, inclusion, youth and women empowerment, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
