On 7 May 2025, His Excellency Mr. Meas Kim Heng, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a meeting with Ms. Bridget Collier, Deputy Head of Mission of the Australian Embassy to Cambodia, at the Ministry. 

During the meeting, both sides discussed Cambodia’s priority sectors in the context of aligning with the Mekong-Australia Partnership Program Phase 2 (2024–2029) as well as preparations for the upcoming Mekong-Australia Partnership Senior Officials’ Meeting to be held on 13 May 2025 in Hanoi, Vietnam. 

His Excellency the Secretary of State expressed sincere appreciation to the Government of Australia for its continued support to Cambodia, particularly in the areas of human resource development, water security, agriculture, environment and transboundary issues which are vital to promote sustainable and inclusive development in the Mekong Subregion.
