On the morning of 10 June 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, had a bilateral meeting with His Excellency SUN Weidong, Vice Foreign Minister and ASEAN SOM Leader of the People's Republic of China, on the sidelines of the ASEAN SOM and Related Meetings in Penang, Malaysia. 

Both sides deliberated on mutually beneficial cooperation under ASEAN-China Dialogue Relations and exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest and concern.
