On the morning of 1 July 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia, received a courtesy call by His Excellency NAGASHIMA Akihisa, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister and Member of the House of Representatives of Japan, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, both sides expressed their satisfaction with the steady growth of the bilateral relations and cooperation across various sectors, including trade and investment, education, security and defence, tourism, and labour. Both sides also shared common views and expressed their commitment to further strengthening and deepening the existing cooperation for the mutual benefits of the two countries and peoples.
