On the afternoon of 7 July 2025, His Excellency KUNG Phoak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and ASEAN SOM Leader of Cambodia, attended the Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone Commission (SEANWFZ EXCOM) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Meeting reviewed the progress in the implementation of the Plan of Action to Strengthen the Implementation of the SEANWFZ Treaty (2023-2027), the Protocol to the SEANWFZ Treaty, and draft Biennial Resolution of the SEANWFZ Treaty to be tabled at the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
