On the afternoon of 17 July 2025, at the Ministry, His Excellency Mr. PRAK Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation  received a farewell call from His Excellency Mr. Jacques PELLET, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the occasion of the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in the Kingdom.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister extended his high appreciation to His Excellency the Ambassador for having carried out his mission with strong determination and effectiveness, actively contributing to the promotion and strengthening of the historic bonds of friendship and multi-sectorial cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and the French Republic. His Excellency the Ambassador conveyed his deep gratitude to Cambodia, especially to His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister, for the quality of the close collaboration, accorded to him and his entire team of the French Embassy in Cambodia throughout his tenure.

Following the meeting, His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister hosted a dinner in honor of His Excellency the Ambassador as a testament to the appreciation and friendship between the two countries.
