On the morning of 21 July 2025, H.E. Mr. KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, co-chaired with H.E. Mr. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the 4th Bilateral Consultations between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, in Phnom Penh.

The two co-chairs highly valued the cooperation between the two countries over the past 30 years, and agreed to continue implementing this bilateral consultation mechanism, which has played an important role in strengthening relations and cooperation between the two countries in important fields, such as politics, economics, trade, agriculture, education, energy, demining, and digital technology. The Co-chairs also exchanged views on major regional and international issues of mutual concern and reaffirmed their commitment to fostering peace, stability, and a rule-based international order.
