On the afternoon of 18 July 2025, at the Ministry, His Excellency Dr. UN Kheang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Van Nam, President of the Viet Nam-Cambodia Friendship Association in Ho Chi Minh City, accompanied by a Tim Viet volunteer medical team from Viet Nam.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of State warmly welcomed and expressed heartfelt appreciation to Lieut. Gen. Nguyen Van Nam and the Tim Viet Volunteer medical team for their visit to Cambodia to offer free medical check-ups, medicine, and donations to Cambodian people in Ang Snoul district, Kandal province. His Excellency the Secretary of State also emphasized that such charitable activities contribute to strengthening solidarity and close friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
