On 29 July 2025, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State, as a High Representative of Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation,  led the Ministry's delegation to pay tribute to the late Second Lieutenant RIN Veasna, a patriotic and heroic soldier who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of Cambodia’s territorial integrity at the Mom Bei battlefield in Oddar Meanchey Province on July 27, 2025.
