On the morning of 31 July 2025, Her Excellency TOUCH Sopharath, Under-Secretary of State and Cambodia’s Alternate SOM Leader for Mekong Cooperation, attended the 12th Mekong-Lancang Cooperation (MLC) Senior Officials’ Meeting via videoconference. 

The meeting reviewed the progress of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation, set future directions for the cooperation, and discussed the preparations for the 10th Mekong-Lancang Foreign Ministers' Meeting to be held on 14-15 August 2025 in Anning, Yunnan, China. 

H.E. Mrs. TOUCH Sopharath highlighted the importance of the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation, the implementation of the Five-Year Action Plan (2023-2027) and the invaluable support of the Government of the People's Republic of China in promoting the Mekong-Lancang Cooperation Framework for the well-being of the people in the Mekong-Lancang sub-region.
