On the morning of 12 August 2025, His Excellency UN Kheang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with His Excellency Bawitlung Vanlalvawna, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Cambodia, at the Ministry.

During the meeting, both sides highly valued the long-standing friendship and close cooperation between Cambodia and India, as evidenced by the frequent exchanges of visits between leaders of the two countries. They also discussed ways to further expand mutually beneficial cooperation and exchanged views on preparations for upcoming high-level visits, including the planned official visit of the Cambodian leadership to India and the reciprocal visit of the Indian leadership to Cambodia.
