On 13 August 2025, His Excellency KHUON Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, had a cordial meeting with 24 Cambodian students who have been awarded scholarships to pursue their studies abroad for the academic year 2025-2026 in France, Ireland, Canada, Japan, China and the Republic of Korea.

The students will pursue their Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in the fields of Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, International Security and Conflict Studies, Public Policy and Development Practice.

His Excellency the Secretary of State warmly congratulated those students on their outstanding achievements and advised them to excel in their studies while embracing the cultures of their respective host countries. He also encouraged them to actively contribute to the strengthening the bonds of friendship between Cambodia and their host nations, as well as  promoting the culture and prestige of Cambodia.

He wished all the students a safe journey and great success in their academic endeavors.
