On the morning of 19 August 2025, His Excellency Khuon Phon Rattanak, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Mr. István Bakos, Chargé d’Affaires of Hungary in Phnom Penh, at the Ministry.

Both sides expressed their satisfaction with the steady progress in bilateral relations and the fruitful cooperation between the two nations over the past years. During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of State also provided a comprehensive update on the latest development along the Cambodia–Thailand border, reiterating Cambodia’s firm commitment to the ceasefire and resolving border issues in accordance with international law.
