On 25 August 2025, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. KE Sovann, Under Secretary of State, chaired an Inter-Ministerial Meeting to prepare for the upcoming 13th Cambodia-Japan Human Rights Dialogue, which will be held on 29 August 2025. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Information, the Cambodian Human Rights Committee, and the National Election Committee.

His Excellency the Under Secretary of State provided a comprehensive briefing on the agenda of the dialogue and requested the respective ministries to prepare interventions aligned with the designated topics. The meeting proceeded in a constructive and substantive manner, marked by fruitful exchanges of views, valuable contributions, and firm commitment to ensuring the successful convening of the upcoming dialogue.
