On 16 October 2025, His Excellency KAN Pharidh, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency Robert Abisoghomonyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, during the 19th Mid-Term Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Kampala, Uganda.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed and explored ways to strengthen cooperation within both the bilateral and multilateral frameworks of the two countries.

H.E. KAN Pharidh also briefly informed his counterpart of the developments of the Cambodia-Thailand border dispute. He emphasized that Cambodia consistently upholds the principle of resolving disputes peacefully and in accordance with international law. Cambodia seeks a fair, equitable, and rules-based solution to ensure lasting peace for both nations.
