On the afternoon of 24 October 2025, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, participated in the Extended Informal Consultation on the Implementation of the Five-Point Consensus (5PC), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This Consultation emphasized ASEAN’s commitment to the 5PC for peace and a lasting solution in Myanmar.

To ensure the 5PC remains relevant and effective, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn reaffirmed Cambodia’s commitment to an ASEAN-led mechanism and efforts that contribute to advancing peace, prosperity and to return Myanmar to normalcy.
