On the morning of 8 November 2025, at the Ministry, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, convened a diplomatic briefing for the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Kingdom of Cambodia.

The Deputy Prime Minister provided an update on the implementation of the Kuala Lumpur Joint Declaration on Peace, Cooperation and Prosperity, signed on 26 October 2025, which serves as a basis for rebuilding trust, peace and cooperation between Cambodia and Thailand.

His Excellency the Deputy Prime Minister outlined some priority areas agreed under the Joint Declaration and emphasized Cambodia’s faithful implementation of its commitments and readiness to work in close coordination with Thailand for the common interest of the two countries and peoples.
