On the afternoon of 8 November 2025, Her Excellency EAT Sophea, Permanent Secretary of State, High Representative of His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, led the Ministry’s delegation to lay wreathes at the Independence Monument and pay tribute to the Late King Father, His Majesty Preah Bat Samdech Preah NORODOM SIHANOUK “Preah Borom Ratanak Kaudh”, at the Royal Memorial Statue, on the occasion of the 72nd Anniversary of National Independence Day (9 November 1953 - 9 November 2025).
