On the afternoon of 22 November 2025, H.E. TY Nitor, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MFAIC), together with H.E. Ülkü Kocaefe, Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Cambodia, delivered humanitarian assistance from the Government of Türkiye, amounting to USD 40,000. The support, comprising food supplies, essential household items, and solar-powered lighting, will support approximately 700 families in need at Wat Chansi Samki Ratanaram, O Chrov District, Banteay Meanchey Province, who were displaced from Prey Chan Village by the recent Cambodia–Thailand border conflict. The event was coordinated by the Economic Diplomacy Coordinating Group of MFAIC, in close cooperation with relevant local authorities, and was joined by H.E. Ly Sovannarith, Deputy Governor of Banteay Meanchey province.
During the visit, the delegation observed firsthand the impacts of the Cambodia-Thai border conflict. H.E. Undersecretary of State expressed his hope that this contribution would encourage further humanitarian support, while H.E. Ambassador emphasised the continued need for more humanitarian assistance across the affected areas.
