Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will lead a high - level delegation to attend the 13th ASEAN-China Expo, under the theme “Building Maritime Silk Road of 21st Century” and the 1st Cambodia-China Trade and Investment Forum to be held on 10-12 September 2016 in Nanning, Guangxi, People’s Republic of China, at the invitation of the Chinese Government.

The delegation will include His Excellency PRAK Sokhonn, Senior Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. PAN Sorasak, Minister of Commerce, as well as other members of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Samdech Techo HUN SEN will deliver his speech at the Opening Ceremony of the 13th ASEAN-China Expo and then will preside over the inauguration ceremony of the Cambodian stand.

Samdech Techo will also address the 1st Cambodia-China Trade and Investment Forum on “ Prospect of Doing Business and Investment in Cambodia” to be held with an aim to further promote the trade relations between Cambodia and China as well as to attract Chinese investors and tourists to Cambodia.

In addition, Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo HUN SEN will also hold bilateral meetings with heads of delegation of some countries.

While 2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of ASEAN-China dialogue relations, the 13th ASEAN-China Expo will further strengthen the friendly cooperation between ASEAN and China, which has enjoyed the full dialogue partner status in 1996 and later upgraded to strategic partnership in 2003. China is the largest ASEAN trading partner and bilateral trade between ASEAN and China stood at 472.16 billion US Dollars in 2015.
