On 2 October 2018, H.E. Deputy Prime Minister had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mr. Mevlut Cavusoglu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, to discuss various issues of common interests and concerns in the context of bilateral, regional and international cooperation.

After the conclusion of bilateral meeting, the two Ministers signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the National Institute of Diplomacy and International Relations (NIDIR) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia and the Diplomacy Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, which is followed by a press conference.
