On 13 December 2019, His Excellency CHHOUK Bunna, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, accompanied by Colonel Keo Cheysothearith, Military Attaché and Military Counsellor, and Mr. MAO Dareth, First Secretary, paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, Commander-in-Chief of Defense Service of Myanmar, in Nay Pyi Taw. The Commander-in-Chief and the Cambodian Ambassador spoke highly about the long-standing friendly relationship between the two countries and shared the views on the need to strengthen ties between the two armed forces. They also agreed to support joint efforts to further deepen and enhance cooperation in tourism, trade and investment, sports and culture, among others, as parts of celebration of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Diplomatic Relations between Cambodia and Myanmar in 2020.\r\n\r\n
